TBR Intervention is a weekly challenge hosted by Dani@RefractedLight, Anayami@Whatever You Can Still Betray & April@Books4Juliet

The goal of this challenge is to help each other (fellow readers and bloggers) manage our enormous and constantly growing TBR (To-Be-Read) List. The rules are simple and everyone is encouraged to participate. It does not force you to commit to more than what you can manage to read in a week or so, but participants are encouraged to read at least one book within a week. You are free to choose the book you want to read and commit to this challenge. You may post your entry every Saturday, at the frequency of your choice--EVERY WEEK or EVERY TWO WEEKS. However, we will sponsor this event regularly every Saturday.

Here are the rules:

1. Post the book(s) you committed to read in your last TBR Intervention post and tell us something about it. Did you finish it? Did you enjoy it or not? Post the link to your review (if you have one).

2. Post a book that you want to read and already own. Pick something that has been sitting on your shelf for too long now (6 months or longer). Commit to read the book in the next couple of days or week.

3. Grab the TBR Intervention Button and post it on your blog sidebar so you will be constantly reminded of the challenge, making it easier for you to commit. This will also encourage other readers/bloggers/visitors to join the challenge.

4. Add the link to your post in the Linky below and make sure to visit the other blogs. Comment, encourage, and spread the love to our fellow readers.

Last weeks TBR book:
Firelight
Author: Sophie Jordan

So I didn't finish my book this week. It's my first time not finishing the book. So here's what happened. I had been reading The Name Of The Star on and off so I decided to sit down and finish that. Then since I finally got my hands on a copy of Anna and the French Kiss I read that because I've been dying to read it. And then I decided to finally finish reading my Galley of Tempest. So I didn't get to start Firelight until Thursday night. I got up to page 40 and then went to sleep. So then on Friday i ended up doing Black Friday shopping with my mom and then around 3pm I ended up going out and hanging out with my best friend and my lil bro (he's not actually my lil bro, we've just known each other so long that he's like my lil bro). I haven't really hung out with him much so when he asked me to hang out I was in no way saying no. So yeah, even though I didn't finish my TBR book I still had a productive week in reading. So I'll post links to my reviews of The Name Of The Star and Anna and the French Kiss so you have proof I wasn't just slacking off. Lol. Oh, and if you're wondering, my review of Tempest will be up sometime in December. I should have Firelight finished in the next week for sure so I'm not gonna choose a new book for this week.

  1. Brittani, It sounds like you do things the way I do. Sporadically. I hope you love Firelight, I did.

  9. Hehe, no worries, we all have to say "later" to a book sometimes. I hope you'll enjoy it this week!

    Happy reading!

PS. And since you provided proof of not slacking off, you'll go without even a warning! ;)

  10. While it's fantastic to read the book you set out to read for the challenge, I think the fact that you're finishing multiple books a week is absolutely wonderful. I mean, that's kinda the point of this challenge -- to read. So congrats on all the reading you accomplished!

    Good luck this week! :)
