Grace just moved to San Francisco and is excited to start over at a new school. The change is full of fresh possibilities, but it’s also a tiny bit scary. It gets scarier when a minotaur walks in the door. And even more shocking when a girl who looks just like her shows up to fight the monster.

Gretchen is tired of monsters pulling her out into the wee hours, especially on a school night, but what can she do? Sending the minotaur back to his bleak home is just another notch on her combat belt. She never expected to run into this girl who could be her double, though.

Greer has her life pretty well put together, thank you very much. But that all tilts sideways when two girls who look eerily like her appear on her doorstep and claim they're triplets, supernatural descendants of some hideous creature from Greek myth, destined to spend their lives hunting monsters.

These three teenage descendants of Medusa, the once-beautiful gorgon maligned by myth, must reunite and embrace their fates in this unique paranormal world where monsters lurk in plain sight.

Review: I really enjoyed this! I love books that are retelling's or based on myths (preferably Greek ones but I'm not picky)! This book had me pulled in from the beginning! I thought the writing was fantastic! I loved getting to know each of the girls! Though I wish we could have had a little more Greer, I feel like we only know the basics with her right now. I also liked how each of the girls had a different reaction to learning what they were. Grace handled it, well, with Grace. Lol. She didn't flip out when she found out, she just put the pieces together and realized that with all the things going on it made sense that she would be this. Greer on the other hand... She did all kinds of flipping out. I mean yeah I get it, its really odd that two people that look exactly like you show up on your doorstep and say your descendents of Medusa. I'd find that extremely weird. But when she really thought about it, it made sense. I mean, you cant deny the facts no matter how badly you want to. Especially the seeing monsters and your sisters looking just like you bit! That's really hard to deny! I did think that Gretchen and Grace could have handled talking to Greer about it differently though! Lol. I'm glad the three of them came together in the end though!

I really wanna know about this whole thing about the girls being the Key Generation! I wanna learn more about it and what exactly it means for them, besides monsters hunting them for a bounty and what not. I also wanna know just who exactly put the bounty on the girls heads, and who is the other person helping them and saving them at the end with the call??? Ahhhh, there's so much more I need to know!! Now, I cant help but mention the boys. I was laughing so hard at Nick sometimes! Gretchen made it painfully clear she wanted nothing to do with him but yet he still tried so hard. That boy would not give up! Though I do wanna know why Gretchen's hypnosis didn't work on him. I thought that was interesting with him being the only one it hasn't worked on yet. Milo! I thought how Grace and Milo acted around each other was so dang cute! I mean, they made it painfully obvious that they liked each other yet neither of them had the guts to make a move until way later in the book. (I want more Grace & Milo moments!) And like I said, we didn't see enough of Greer yet for me form an opinion of her boy.

4 Stars!
