Answer:
Retellings, yes, sometimes. It really depends on the story. Some retellings I really love, others are just complete misses with me. It honestly just depends on the story and how its written. Sequels, I'm not too into sequels of classics. I'm not sure why.
Yeah, I think retellings can be a mixed bag. I've not really read any sequels of classic novels that I can think of.

DeleteThe story has to be well written. I've found some retellings that are great and others that are not.
ReplyDeleteExactly!!! Some I've flew through and rated 5 stars. Others I couldn't even finish the book let alone rate it. It really depends on the writing.
