Review: A fantastic conclusion to the Shade Trilogy! I seriously loved this book! It's definitely my favorite of the trilogy! I couldn't put down this book!  So much happened in this book! I don't even know where to start! The plane crash... First of all, that scared the hell outta me in the beginning when we didn't know what happened to Zach! Second, after we found out Zach wasn't on the flight I was pissed because of the fact that DMP was holding him and what they were doing to him. And then later on what they were making him do (without his knowledge until after the fact) while holding him! The DMP just really got on my nerves throughout the entire book! And all the stuff dealing with Nighthawk and SecuriLab on top of that! Especially Nighthawk, freaking following Aura and Zach when they went to Ireland to try and stop them from ending the Shift. It like they couldn't even have a peaceful vacation, just the two of them, for their birthdays! I did however like the ending when the DMP was brought to their knees finally. After all they did they deserved it! I also loved what Aura found about at the very end dealing with the Shift! That made a seriously good ending for the book!

Zach & Aura!!!!! AHHHHHHHH! I seriously love these two! Like no joke, they are seriously one of my favorite book couples ever! You could see how much they loved each other! Like you could see the serious chemistry between them throughout the book! They seriously had the cutest video chats! Just wanting to see each other! Ahhhh! They are so freaking cute!!! But I seriously loved their birthday vacation to Ireland (minus all the bad stuff)! Especially what they FINALLY did! Those two seriously waited so long just to see each other again, so they totally deserved all the alone time and moments between them that they got! I also loved how in the end Aura ended up getting accepted into the University of Glasgow so she could be with Zach! And not to mention, that's pretty cool that she gets to go to college out of the freaking country! This book is seriously amazing!!!! :D

TBR Intervention Challenge [#13]

I really enjoyed this book! Idk what it is with me. I automatically assume I'll hate a steampunk book (idk why) but then end up loving it! It was such a great mix of history and futuristic ideas. So many parts kept me on the edge of my seat.
Shift

I loved this book!!! I loved it even more than I loved Shade! So many questions I had were answered in this book and I got a lot more Zack (even though some parts werent exactly nice to Aura).

I've had this Galley for probably about a month now and I really need to get to it before it expires. I dont know why I havent got around to it yet cuz I was really interesting in reading this. Lol.

Review: I loved it! Even more than I loved Shade! Ahhh! Shift dived right into so many of the questions I had from Shade!!! I was so excited that we kept getting closer and closer to the truth! Ok, I kinda have to talk about Aura, Zack & Logan before I can get to all that. So I really love Aura and Zack! I do. So the whole thing with Zack being mad at Aura over Logan during the whole 15 minutes when he became solid was killing me!! I absolutely love Zack and Aura together!I hated them not talking and only seeing each other for their project. Though I absolutely loved those moments they had. Lol. Logan... Honestly. I just wanted him to move on. It was bugging me so much that he was constantly finding a way between Aura and Zack. I mean he was a freakin ghost! Let her be with someone that's alive! I found it really interesting that when Aura & Zack would kiss he would be able to see ghosts for a little while and she would repel them afterwards. I still don't get why that's happening. OMG! Zacks dad getting cancer, that must suck so badly. I felt so bad for Zack when we found that out.

After Eowyn left! Letting Aura and Zack find the missing journal pages! AHHH!!! We learned so much about Aura in them! Her dad, OMG!!! HER DAD!!! Not gonna spoil it for those who haven't read it but OMG!!!!!!!! Lol. Not to mention all that stuff dealing with the Shine. We learned so much from it. Like how neither Zack's parents or Aura's mom should have been able to have kids until the Shine happened. The Shine made it possible for both Zack and Aura to be born! I was beyond shocked at that! Though it did show that somehow they truly are connected! I absolutely loved the end with Aura and Zack! They finally showed their true feelings!!!! AHHHH! Took them long enough!!!! Lol.

Ok, so we all know I really enjoyed Shade and I've been dying to get my hands of Shift since then! So even though I only picked it up today I'm making it my other TBR book because I'm so excited to read it!!!!!!! I've had Hush, Hush on my shelf since September 2011 (it was one of the many books my grandma got me for my bday). I've been meaning to get to it but I just havent got around to it. So, this week I'm dusting it off and reading it.

Review: Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready

Logan's sudden death leaves Aura devastated. He's gone.

Well, sort of.

Like everyone born after the Shift, Aura can see and hear ghosts. This mysterious ability has always been annoying, and Aura had wanted nothing more than to figure out why the Shift happened so she can undo it. But not with Logan's violet-hued spirit still hanging around. Because dead Logan is almost as real as ever. Almost.

It doesn't help that Aura's new friend Zachary is so understanding—and so very alive. His support means more to Aura than she cares to admit.

As Aura's relationships with the dead and the living grow ever complicated, so do her feelings for Logan and Zachary. Each holds a piece of Aura's heart...and clues to the secret of the Shift. 

Review: I really enjoyed this book! It was very well done! The story line and the characters were very good! The whole Pre-Shift/Post-Shift thing was so interesting. The whole time I was reading it was in the back of my head "what caused the shift?", "why did it happen?" It was definitely part of the reason I kept reading, because I want to know more about the shift. Now, I don't know how I'd feel about being able to see or hear ghosts. I mean for a time I would think it'd be kinda cool but then it'd probably get on my nerves like it did with Aura.  The ghosts them self were pretty interesting. Like how they were all bleh (for lack of a better word) when they see the color red or are around obsidian. Also, it sounds really scary to become a shade.

OMG! It saddened me so much when Logan died. I felt so bad for Aura, seeing her hurt and all. I'm honestly not sure if I like Logan or not. I mean, he seems like a good guy. I really really loved how much he loved Aura. I loved how he was still trying to be a good boyfriend even though he was a ghost but then at times I kinda just wanted him to move on and leave her alone so the pain would start going away. I was so torn! And then theres Zach. I kinda like him. I mean, he tried being a good friend and the whole thing with him being the last born Pre-Shift made him really interesting. I makes you feel like some how Zach and Aura have a connection being the last Pre-Shift and the first Post-Shift. I really wanna know more about that as well. And OMG!!!!!! After reading the first chapter of Shift in the back of Shade I need to get my hands on Shift!

Halo

I didnt finish Halo, not because I ran out of time but because I just didnt wanna read it anymore. I got to about page 151 before I gave up. Ok, so I really liked the whole concept for the story but I just didnt feel connected like I do to most books with this. It didnt pull me in, I mean it was hard for me to even get to page 151 without being bored. Dont get me wrong, again, I loved the concept behind the story and I even found the writing really beautiful at times but I just wasnt connected to the story at all.
